Are Disney Infinity 2.0 Compatible With 3.0

Disney Infinity is unfortunately not backwards compatible with Xbox One. This is the link for future reference in case you might have more games that you are un sure about.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this question. Regarding the game Disney Infinity, it is not listed as being part of the backward compatibility list for Xbox One per our support article entitled Xbox One backward compatibility FAQ.

However, the Disney Infinity 2.0 & Disney Infinity 3.0 games do have versions for the Xbox One console that are available to purchase for the platform since the Xbox 360 versions are not backward compatible for those titles as well.

I would also point out that saves don't transfer between versions, so any progress made will be lost when starting the new version.

Another thing to be on the lookout for is the Disney Infinity Base that you plug into the Xbox 360 will not work on the Xbox One. I ran into this same problem when I upgraded years ago. You must get the Xbox One Game and Base. Hope this helps.

Only the figures will between versions. I don't know for Infinity but character levels on Skylanders are tied to the character as well.
